365 Days to Create! March 17, 2009 142/365

Mat helped me tie-dye this piece of fabric with the leftover Easter egg dye. I've never tie-dyed anything, so it only seemed right that I should learn!

Right now I don't have any future plans for this fabric (what do you do with tie-dye? when is it coming back in style?)

Easter eggs!

365 Days to Create! March 15, 2009 140/365

My brother is getting married at the end of March, and I'm lucky to be a bridesmaid! We got our dresses, and I had 8 inches taken off the bottom. So, I made a purse to match my dress. I sewed on these beads for a little extra.

Another picture to come!

The last of the leftover fabric! I even had enough to make a divider on the inside. The iron-on applique is from a pack my mother-in-law gave me for Christmas last year.

This is the leftover fabric from the walker bag. This is just the right size to hold my camera and extra batteries. The blue fabric is upholstery fabric, so it's pretty sturdy.

I made this for my Grandpa. For his walker - it has 2 pockets (one each on the outside and inside.) I painted the map on the front and their are yellow french knots on each city where his descendants live. Ohio is highlighted, and a buckeye is painted next to it.

Easter card - The egg is from candle packaging that was just too pretty to toss. The grass and card stock are papers that I've in my stash. I sent this to my friend, Elaine, who always sends us anniversary cards that are handmade.
